Ya, I don't understand why LP would stop printing the trekking in Central Andes book. Seems crazy to me. And yes, I see the outrageous prices one could pay on Amazon or whatever for a copy. I was just hoping I was wrong, and there is a decent book out there describing all treks in that area.
